1. General Standard of Use

You may use Kunbord only for lawful productivity, project management, personal organization, and business organization purposes. You must not use the service in a way that harms us, other users, third parties, service providers, networks, systems, infrastructure, or the reputation and integrity of Kunbord.

2. Illegal, Harmful, or Abusive Use

You must not use Kunbord to create, store, process, transmit, facilitate, or promote content or activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, exploitative, discriminatory, harassing, defamatory, invasive of privacy, or otherwise unlawful.

  • Illegal instructions, criminal coordination, fraud, scams, phishing, impersonation, identity theft, or deception.

  • Content that violates confidentiality, privacy, data protection, consumer protection, employment, intellectual property, or other legal obligations.
  • Unlawful surveillance, doxxing, credential harvesting, unauthorized profiling, or attempts to use workspace content to harm, manipulate, or exploit another person.

3. Security Abuse

You must not use Kunbord to compromise, test, scan, overload, disrupt, or bypass the security of Kunbord, our users, our providers, or any third-party system without authorization.

4. Spam, Scraping, and Platform Misuse

You must not use Kunbord to send spam, conduct unsolicited outreach, operate deceptive campaigns, harvest data, or misuse the service for automated or abusive activity.

  • Harvesting, scraping, collecting, or storing personal information without a lawful basis or permission.

  • Using the service to host command-and-control content, abusive redirects, deceptive links, spam lists, stolen credentials, or harmful infrastructure.

5. Intellectual Property and Confidentiality

You must not use Kunbord to infringe intellectual property rights, misappropriate trade secrets, breach confidentiality obligations, or store content that you have no right to use. If you store third-party materials, you are responsible for having the necessary rights, permissions, licenses, or legal basis.

6. Personal Data and Sensitive Information

Kunbord is designed as a privacy-friendly Kanban and productivity service, but you remain responsible for the content and personal information you place inside the service. You must not use Kunbord to unlawfully process personal data or to store sensitive, regulated, or high-risk data unless you have independently confirmed that your use is lawful and appropriate.

  • Do not store payment card numbers, authentication secrets, government identifiers, medical records, biometric data, criminal offence data, children’s data, or other highly sensitive or regulated information unless you have a lawful basis, appropriate safeguards, and have independently assessed that Kunbord is suitable for that use.
  • Do not upload or process personal data about other people without proper notice, authority, and legal basis.
  • Business users are responsible for their own privacy notices, legal basis, data processing instructions, user permissions, and compliance obligations.

If you invite team members, collaborators, clients, contractors, or other users into a workspace, you are responsible for their permissions, access level, lawful use, and any personal data or confidential information they add to the service.

7. Resource and Fair Use Limits

You must use Kunbord reasonably and within the limits of your plan. We may apply technical limits to workspaces, boards, cards, tasks, storage, requests, API usage if introduced, account activity, and other resources to protect service reliability and prevent abuse.

  • You must not intentionally overload, degrade, or disrupt the service.
  • You must not use free plans, trials, or accounts in a way designed to avoid payment or circumvent fair use restrictions.
  • We may restrict or throttle usage that threatens service stability, security, cost control, or availability for other users.

8. Payment and Subscription Abuse

You must not abuse free trials, subscription features, billing systems, chargeback processes, promotions, or payment providers. Fraudulent payment activity, unauthorized payment methods, repeated trial abuse, false disputes, or attempts to evade billing may result in suspension or termination.

9. Reporting Violations

If you believe someone is violating this Policy or misusing Kunbord, please contact us at support@kunbord.com. Include relevant details such as account identifiers, screenshots, links, timestamps, and a description of the issue where possible.

10. Investigation and Enforcement

We may investigate suspected violations of this Policy. Depending on the situation, we may remove or restrict content, warn users, limit features, suspend accounts, terminate accounts, preserve evidence, notify affected users, notify providers, or report unlawful activity to competent authorities where required or appropriate.

We are not required to monitor all content or activity, but we may take action when we become aware of actual or suspected misuse. We may act immediately where necessary to protect users, the service, our providers, or the public.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time to reflect changes to Kunbord, security risks, legal requirements, product features, or acceptable use standards. The updated version will be effective when posted on the website or otherwise made available, unless a later effective date is stated.
